Hey

I have a problem with my 92 Savage.

It started in this spring.

Everything went well (first 9 km) then I stopped
and kill the engine and I went to see my friend.

When I got back (about in 10 minutes ago) Savage
didn't start properly.

So I starded and started and finally engine
started to run. (very poor)

But it suddenly stops with lots of backfiring.

So I started engine with no luck many times and
finally it started to run but it didn't run properly
but I got home. (it also died several times in my way
home)

So.. I cleaned carburator..

Then I drove about 20 km and engine suddenly died
in high speed and it didn't run when I started.

I wait about a half an hour and then it started to run
(I change a new spark plug).

In my homeyard it died again (shit)...

So I checked all electrical system
- ignition coil (with my voltage/resistance meter)
- spark plug lead and cap
- most of wiring (everything was ok?)
- connections to battery
- Engine kill switch
etc.

(gas system I had checked before)

I didn't find anything unusual.

Situation is:
- Savage will start ok
- it bacfires litle all a time (when I loose
the throtle)
- engine runs bad (loose power)
- I cant drive it because it may
die when I get away from my home

What can it be the reason for bacfiring
and bad engine run?

If somebody can give me a hint I will be
very pleased.

(Can it be the Ignition IC-circuit box?)

Best regards

Vezku
